About Our Registry/Survey
Origins & Purpose
This website began with a specific mission in mind. Originally designed by a legal professional who anticipated a class action approach to addressing Zorbium™-related concerns, the site created a space for affected pet owners to connect and share their experiences.
While the anticipated class action litigation did not materialize, something equally valuable emerged: a community of voices united by shared experiences and concerns.
The Registry Today
Today, we maintain a confidential registry of pet owners who have reported adverse reactions to Zorbium™. This registry serves several important functions:
- Documentation: Creating a record of cases that might otherwise remain isolated incidents
- Research: Collecting data points not tracked by official FDA reporting, including animal characteristics such as sex and coat color
- Support: Connecting affected pet owners with each other and with resources
- Media Outreach: With permission, connecting journalists with local pet owners for news coverage of this issue
Confidentiality & Data Use
All personal information and individual stories remain strictly confidential. We only share contact information with media outlets or other parties after obtaining explicit permission from the pet owner.
The anonymized data we collect helps create a more comprehensive picture of adverse events than what’s available through official channels. The FDA’s adverse event reporting system does not track certain animal characteristics that might prove relevant to understanding why some pets experience adverse reactions while others don’t.
Joining the Registry
If your pet has experienced an adverse reaction to Zorbium™, we invite you to add your information to our confidential registry. Your experience matters, whether you’re interested in potential legal remedies or simply want your voice to be heard and your data to contribute to a fuller understanding of this issue.
By collecting and analyzing these reports, we hope to identify patterns that might help prevent future harm and ensure that pet owners can make fully informed decisions about their animals’ care.
