About Us

The Zorbium® Information Center – One of the rare independent veterinary drug safety websites worldwide – was founded following a deeply personal experience with this medication. After my cat was administered Zorbium® following an ultrasound procedure – without my knowledge or consent – he tragically passed away nine days later. During this ordeal, I also experienced skin burns from contact with the drug.

This devastating loss before Christmas became the catalyst for creating this resource. As a dedicated animal caretaker with a lifetime of experience caring for two horses, and a small farm – I understand the special bond we share with our animals and the trust we place in veterinary medications.

My mission is straightforward: to provide transparent, factual information about Zorbium®, gather documentation through FOIA requests, and create awareness about potential risks that may not be fully highlighted in marketing materials. After sharing my story online and connecting with others who had similar experiences, it became clear that a comprehensive resource was needed.

This site exists to help veterinarians and pet owners make fully informed decisions about pain management options. By presenting FDA documentation, manufacturer information, and reported adverse events in one place, I hope to prevent other cat owners from experiencing similar heartbreak.

I believe in the power of information and transparency. This project is dedicated to the memory of my cat and to ensuring that all pet owners have access to complete information about the medications being used to treat their beloved companions.
